Privacy without hidden tracking claims.
This policy describes the information EmailCostEngine currently processes and will be updated before materially different tracking or advertising technologies are enabled.
1. Information you provide
If you use the contact form, EmailCostEngine stores the name, email address, topic and message you submit, together with the time of consent and submission. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card data or other secrets.
2. Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting and web-server infrastructure may record request metadata such as IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent, response status and similar operational information for security, troubleshooting and reliability.
3. Cookies and local state
The site may use essential security/session cookies required by the Django application, including protections used by forms. As of this version, EmailCostEngine has not enabled analytics cookies, advertising cookies or affiliate-tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
4. How information is used
Contact information is used to review and respond to messages, investigate corrections or technical issues, process privacy requests, and maintain the integrity and security of the service.
5. Selling personal information
EmailCostEngine does not currently sell personal information submitted through the site.
6. Service infrastructure
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers needed to host, secure, back up or operate the site. EmailCostEngine does not authorize such providers to use contact submissions for their own advertising purposes.
7. Retention
Contact submissions and operational records are retained only for as long as reasonably useful for response, recordkeeping, security, troubleshooting or legal obligations, and may be deleted periodically.
8. External websites
EmailCostEngine links to third-party provider websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
9. Your requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to personal information. Use the contact form and choose “Privacy request” to make a request.
10. Changes
This policy will be updated before or when materially different data collection—such as analytics, advertising technology or affiliate tracking—is introduced.
